Cocksucker Blues

Director Robert Frank
United States / 93 min. / 1972 / English

The film about the Stones vetoed by the Stones themselves, back in the day. The gruesome and historical testimony of Their Satanic Majesties’ 1972 tour upon their return to the United States after the fateful Altamont concert.

The jinxed film of films about the Stones, which, for legal reasons, only
gets a few authorized screenings per year anywhere in the world. Tedium, chaos, orgies, nefarious substances, contempt of authority and powerful classic live hits stack up in a film that’s mostly shot in black and white and smacks of cinéma vérité.
