Over a veritable avalanche of archival material and home-made videos, the voices of the members of one of the fiercest groups of the grunge era speak frankly about their rise, fall and comeback by popular demand.
The glittering gems of this movie are the sharp reflections on feminist activism (those "Pro-Choice Rock" concerts in favour legalizing abortion), sudden, unsettling stardom, and the tragic end of the grunge heyday, thanks to heroin and the kiss of death by the multinationals. The celebration of L7’s music is compounded by the testimonies of Lydia Lunch, Joan Jett, Shirley Manson and Butch Vig (Garbage), Louise Post (Veruca Salt) and Krist Novoselic (Nirvana).
